They call me Big Gerald cause I am 6' 8". Pros: So I picked up a new Easton 6.0 today and it is just sick.If you don't like the grip, rip it off and put a new one on because the 6.0 is still a great deal. The gauze feels like hard plastic I think it should be softer. Cons: Not 100% sure if I am sold on the new gauze grip tape on the new Easton slow pitch bats.Remember, this is the same material in the barrel as the more expensive Easton softball bats in the Raw Power line. Don't worry about the 12 inch barrel being smaller than the 13.5" barrel on the balanced Easton slowpitch bats, the 12" barrel is plenty big. This bat is just as hot, the only difference is a tiny bit of, for lack of a better word, "vibration" than the black carbon bats. Don't bother paying more for the black carbon handle, you don't need it. The sweet spot is huge and the whole barrel reacts well to any contact. They say it is end loaded but it is more of a slight end load like the old Easton SRV4 was. Pros: This bat is just as hot as the $299 Easton bats. This is the best bang for you buck of all the Easton softball bats this year. Remember the incredible, best selling, Easton Salvo? That was IMX composite and so is the Easton L6. Don't let the low price fool you, the IMX composite handle may allow a teeny bit more vibration to reach your hands, but the IMX is a tried and true material for making bats. Easton IMX composite is not their newest carbon fiber, but it is one of their best. The new ASA bats are hotter, and the 6.0 Raw Power is no exception.Ĭonstruction: One-piece, all IMX composite carbon fiber. The Easton 6.0 is approved for play in ASA, which recently loosened their bat standards to be closer to the USSSA 1.20 bat standard. Similar to the Easton Salvo, the L6.0 Raw Power is end loaded, adding mass to the end of the barrel, and gives you more potential energy getting to the softball than a balanced bat, if you are strong enough to swing the end loaded model. This is supposed to allow you to feel and control your swing to a greater degree than a two-piece bat. The one piece design will let you feel more of the contact with the softball when you hit it. The Easton L6.0 softball bat is a one piece, end loaded, 100% composite ASA softball bat. Raw Power softball bats come in ASA, composite/aluminum, balanced and end loaded. The Easton Raw Power slow pitch softball bat lineup is the most complete softball bat offering ever seen. Pros: A very solid USSSA bat that I would recommend to anyone.Easton Raw Power L6.0 Slowpitch Softball Bat End Load ASA SP13L6Įaston Raw Power L6.0 End Loaded 1 Piece Composite ASA Slowpitch Softball Bat.Cons: Only con would be grip doesn't last long (I'll take that any day of the week).Bat has solid end load but it isn't too much (bat overall has great feel). Pros: Great stick! Takes a few hundred cuts to open up, but when it does, exit speed and distance are incredible.Cons: Really, NON! I live in Florida where we play ALL year round, and I truly can not think of one negative review for this bat! And believe me when I say, "we've tried EVERY new USSA bat out there since the new 'thumb print' rule" and this by far is the best!.Will never use another bat! Now have a Worth Mutant and Miken Freak, both within 1 yr, that go UNUSED! Pros: HOT HOT HOT, right out of the wrapper!! 1st swing, swung so easy just to place the ball over SS's head, hit the fence! 345, in the park homer! PERFECT balance and feel.Pros: A power hitter! Loved using this bat in my fall ball league! Great pop and an all around good bat!.Cons: only 6 month warranty is no good and wish you had.I love how you feel the endload through the zone and you have control of the barrel and know where in the zone its going. Pros: I love this bat.you have different endload options depending on bat ozs(26oz+1oz,27oz+2oz,28oz and 30oz+3oz endload) I have a 28oz and the endload is +3oz so feels like a 31oz.If you've swung this bat and you like it but you don't want to pay the price, go with the L5. I'm not a power hitter, but with this bat, I hit my first-ever home run in a game and the bat had about 80 swings on it. I love the new Easton L series of bats and the L2 is a great one. Pros: Smoking hot bat with very little break-in period.I have teammates asking where did I get this sick stick and I say CHEAPBATS.COM No hassle. If you are thinking about getting this bat go for it, you won't regret it. Pros: CRAZY HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!! It has become my gamer.
